Stoch soars to Innsbruck win and Four Hills lead

Poland’s Kamil Stoch soared to a big victory at the third stop of the Four Hills tournament on Sunday to put himself in pole position for a third title at the prestigious event after others faltered. The multiple world and Olympic champion Stoch recorded 127.5 and 130 metres on Innsbruck’s Bergisel hill for victory with 261.6 points. Slovenia’s Anze Lanisek trailed by 12 points in second from 131m and 123.5m, and title holder Dawid Kubacki of Poland was third, another 1.3 points back after jumps of 126m and 127m.
