Tarjei Boe wins biathlon sprint from Peiffer and brother Johannes

Norwegian brothers Tarjei and Johannes Boe finished first and third in the men’s biathlon World Cup sprint in Kontiolahti on Thursday with Germany’s Olympic champion Arnd Peiffer separating them in second. The 33-year-old Tarjei Boe shot cleanly in two visits to the range during the 10 kilometre race to win in 24 minutes 3.7 seconds. He took his 10th World Cup victory 13.9 seconds ahead of Peiffer, who also shot flawlessly.
