Time is running out for Luxembourg’s planned cannabis legalization – HEDGE accordingly

Luxembourg couldn’t have foreseen a global pandemic when it set itself a tight deadline for legalizing cannabis. Back in 2018, when Canada was in the news for legalizing recreational use of cannabis, Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel promised that his small country would be the first in Europe in follow suit. Canada legalized the sale and consumption of cannabis in October 2018, becoming the second country worldwide to do so, after Uruguay in 2014.
