Trump considering D.C. litigator to replace White House counsel McGahn: Washington Post

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Donald Trump is considering replacing outgoing White House counsel Don McGahn with Pat Cipollone, a Washington litigator who once worked in the Justice Department, the Washington Post reported on Friday.

The Post reported that earlier this week Trump interviewed Cipollone, who has advised Trump’s outside legal team. Reuters has not confirmed the report.
