US confirms it has appealed Assange extradition ruling

Lawyers acting for the United States have appealed a British judge’s decision not to extradite Julian Assange. During a hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, Clair Dobbin confirmed the team had launched their appeal, meaning the case of his extradition will now be heard at Britain’s High Court.
