Yankees call New York allowing Yankee Stadium to welcome fans at 10% capacity ‘an encouraging first step’

NEW YORK — With the Yankees due to open the season in the Bronx on April 1, they welcomed the news from Gov. Cuomo that New York will start reopening large arenas to fans. Cuomo announced that fans will be welcomed back beginning Feb. 23 with the Nets-Kings game at the Barclays Center with testing and other requirements in place.
